Breakfast seminars

An ongoing programme of breakfast seminars aimed at directors, CEOs and senior managers continues this autumn with presentations entitled 'Improving customer service' (September) and 'Inspiring commitment in people' (October).


The seminars, organised as a result of the work carried out by the management development forum, will be delivered by The Garnett Foundation. They have been designed to:



  • provide a valuable networking opportunity

  • present best practice on a range of issues affecting business today

  • consult business leaders on management development issues in Cambridgeshire

  • ensure time away from the office is kept to a minimum.

    Roger Salmon, managing director, OCS Smarts Group, will reflect on his experience and highlight practical actions organisations can take to improve their customer service and care.



    Inspiring commitment in people



    Wednesday 21 October 1998

    Maralyn Nash, director, Activepace Training and Development, will explain the benefits of constructive feedback in motivation and achieving results. This powerful seminar aims to stimulate ideas for improving day-to-day communication and also provide a method of developing trust-based relationships.



    Both seminars start at 07.50 am and finish after breakfast at 10.00 am. They cost 21.28 plus VAT, a total of 25 per person per seminar, including breakfast, with fees payable in advance with booking.
