Cambridge start-ups wanted

So far there has been a good response from Cambridge-based start-ups to the request for companies to register for the Cambridge Entrepreneurship Centre's 'Experience Entrepreneurship' work experience scheme.

However, the demand from interested students is so far exceeding the places available in young entrepreneurial firms. The scheme functions by placing undergraduates and postgraduates in local start-ups to work on short term important projects mainly over the summer vacation.

The scheme ran successfully for the first time last year and even resulted in some students being offered permanent posts on completion of their studies. In conjunction with the St John's Innovation Centre, the Cambridge Entrepreneurship Centre matches students to the companies to optimise the best-fit matching process.

More details of the scheme can be found at and company registration can be completed at

If you could use an enthusiastic and intelligent young mind over the summer then please register on the above website or contact the Cambridge Entrepreneurship Centre at mailto: or the St John's Innovation Centre at
