Marshall Aerospace Business Aviation is expanding at its Company-owned Airport, in Cambridge UK. A Cessna Authorised Service Centre for over 30 years, the company has seen its Business Aviation division grow significantly from 2005 to the point where it now needs to add additional hangar capacity and full service facilities.
Marshall Aerospace Business Aviation will launch its new MRO & FBO expansion at BGAD 2007
The £4.5m development at the Cambridge site will incorporate a purpose-built integrated MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) facility and FBO with customer accommodation where a full suite of services will be available to the corporate flyer from exclusive customer lounge facilities on two levels, flight crew sleep cabins and quiet rooms, to special planning and weather centres, and catering for passengers and aircraft. A 25,000 sq ft hangar will also be built adjacent to the existing facility, thereby integrating both hangars and the new FBO facility together. Customer fleet offices will also be available.
Utilising specific construction and design methods, the new facilities will be fully adaptable to incorporate further growth and change, and will enjoy outstanding ease of access for passengers and crews alike. Unique within the FBO, there will be accommodation for flight crews to book overnight or day cabins with full en-suite facilities, as well as high specification conference rooms and communication suites. Marshall will provide integrated full chauffeur services from its own dedicated cars and drivers able to connect passengers directly into London and beyond.
Marshall Aerospace Business Aviation plan to have the new hangar and facilities ready for operations in the first quarter of 2008, and will be displaying full details of the new facilities at the Business & General Aviation Day 2007 which the Airport is hosting in conjunction with European Business Air News. This biennial event brings together a selection of business aviation companies and static aircraft displays, and will be taking place on Wednesday 12 September 2007.
