Cisco and ideaSpace hold ‘Connected Growth’ workshop for SMEs

Cisco and the ideaSpace Enterprise Accelerator have partnered to host a ‘Connected Growth’ workshop at The Hauser Forum, Cambridge on 23rd April, designed to help SMEs discover how funding programmes can align public and private investment around digital connected growth.

The workshop supports the objectives of Cisco’s British Innovation Gateway (BIG) initiative - a five-year investment of cash, technology and resources, designed to support the Government’s objective to drive innovation and boost economic growth through the SME and start-up sectors. Designed to provide an opportunity for SMEs to come together, the workshop will discuss digital growth strategies, connectivity in the 21st Century and the digital value chains and opportunities available to businesses within the UK.

As part of the programme, attendees will learn about the valuable support, services and grants currently on offer in the UK, including RAPTOR – a research and development project, in partnership with Cisco, planned to build a digital ecosystem of SMEs developing real-time smart urban applications on a secure brokerage platform.

The workshop will take place from 10am until 1pm at the Hauser Forum, Cambridge. More information on the workshop can be found via the ideaSpace website here.
