DSrupt winners spread their wings

GeneAdviser and Undo named winners of the 2015 Cambridge Wireless Discovering Start-Ups competition.

Both GeneAdviser, recent ideaSpace City member, and Undo, ideaSpace alumni, were among winners of the 2015 Cambridge Wireless Discovering Start-Ups competition.   Sixteen finalists pitched their ideas, technologies and innovative products to a packed audience and elite judging panel of 29 business leaders and investors from Deloitte UK, Google, BT, IBM, MediaTek Labs, Samsung, London Business Angels and many more.   The competition, now in its 6th year, gives startups the chance to pitch their work to London investors and to network with potential business partners and customers.   GeneAdviser is building an online marketplace for genetic testing, and aims to boost the uptake of genomic medicine by doctors worldwide. CEO and co-founder, Jelena Aleksic, said "the publicity and recognition which has flowed from this award has been a great boost, but the best thing about the DSrupt competition was the audience."   "With so many potential investors and partner in the crowd, the competition has sparked some genuinely useful conversations with people from London and across the UK." ____________________________________
