Watch Tim Peake's spacewalk at Cambridge Science Centre today

Go along to the Cambridge Science Centre at lunchtime today (Friday, January 15th) to watch British ESA astronaut Tim Peake take his first steps out of the international space station (ISS) to perform a space walk.

Tim and NASA astronaut Tim Kopra will exit the ISS to repair a power unit on the outside.

The spacewalk is planned to take place at 12.55GMT and the centre will be opening at 12.30 to celebrate this great event. Following the beginning of the spacewalk, the centre will also be showing its Tim Peake inspired Destination Space: Join the Crew! show where you can learn all about what it takes for human space flight to happen.

This is a drop in session so no booking necessary.

Please note that normal admission prices to the Cambridge Science Centre will apply.
