Places available for Normandy Cycle Ride in aid of children’s charity

Fancy taking on a 200 mile cycling challenge while enjoying the beautiful Normandy countryside? Then East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) has the event for you!

EACH is pleased to announce they have ten spaces available for the bespoke  Normandy Cycle Ride which will take place from 21st to 25th September. Cyclists will take on the ride which covers 200 miles over four days, taking in Utah and Omagh beaches from the D-Day landings. The route will cover some of the roads that will feature in this year’s Tour De France which has its Grand Depart in Normandy.

Karen Newton, EACH Cambridgeshire Fundraising Manager, said: “We’re thrilled to be offered ten spaces in this Normandy Cycle Ride, giving participants the chance to really push themselves in the saddle as well as enjoying the beautiful countryside that Normandy has to offer. Our cycling events are really popular so please do get in touch to find out more details and book your place!

“EACH cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across East Anglia and supports their families. For both families accessing care, and those who have been bereaved, EACH is a lifeline at an unimaginably difficult time. Funds raised from this challenge will go towards providing these vital services.”

EACH is partnering with Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) to offer this event. Full support will be provided by Sport Ecosse Events led by an Event Manager and at least four support staff.

The registration fee is £150 and participants must commit to raising a minimum of £1,450.
