Take your team punting in aid of local children’s charity

Punting fun on the river, a challenging treasure hunt and great prizes are all on offer at East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) Punt and Treasure Hunt.

EACH has launched places for the Cambridge event, which will take place on Thursday 5th May departing at 6pm from Scudamores at the Quayside. Teams of six will enjoy a fun night messing about on the river with some healthy competition, all in aid of the local charity.

The evening comprises a two stage quiz with half the teams setting off on foot, whilst the other half start on punts. Both teams will have a selection of clues to search for along the way and will swap mid-way through before returning back to base. Participants are being encouraged to don fancy dress costumes for the occasion and a prize will be available on the night for the best dressed team.

Neil Hamilton-Meikle, EACH Cambridgeshire Corporate Fundraiser, said: “Our EACH Punt and Treasure Race promises to be a lovely evening both on and along the river with some healthy competition between teams thrown in. We’re encouraging participants to come along in fancy dress and will have prizes for the best fancy dress as well as the first to finish and top fundraiser.

“EACH cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across East Anglia and is a lifeline to so many families at an unimaginably difficult time. This event is great opportunity to engage your teams, do a bit of networking and raise some essential funds for a worthy local cause at the same time!”

Snack food will be provided for all participants at the end of the event with a further  discount available at Las Iguanas for teams.

Entry to the EACH Punt and Treasure Hunt costs £150 for a team of six people.
