Cheffins pays for a day of care at EACH

Market-leading firm of surveyors, property advisers and auctioneers, Cheffins has generously pledged its support for children and young people with life-threatening conditions as the firm donated enough money to pay for a day of care at East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).

Cheffins, which has six offices across mid-Anglia, has chosen EACH as a worthy local cause in the area it covers.  Cheffins has donated the £5,300 needed to pay for one day of the vital care and support that EACH provides in a day across Cambridgeshire, both at their Milton hospice, at families’ homes and in the community.

The chosen day to fund is today, Thursday 30th June 2016.

Paul Claydon, Director, Cheffins said: “Cheffins is proud to be supporting East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. This incredible charity provides support for so many families in the region with children and young people life-threatening illnesses. We hope that our donation will help alleviate the pressures and strains that inevitably impact on the lives of families at a time when they need it most.”

Neil Hamilton-Meikle, EACH Cambridgeshire Corporate Fundraiser, said: “I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Cheffins for choosing to support EACH and for this very generous donation. It costs £5,300 to run each of our services every single day so without the support of local groups and organisations EACH would not be able to continue its vital work across Cambridgeshire.”
