With over 15 WaveFX technicians on-site, our brief was to provide all the technical AV support including lighting, sound, filming and live streaming across all seven screens.
We used our two LiveStream HD550’s to vision mix simultaneous events and then streamed the HD output to other screens around the venue. Using the in-house LAN network via our RTMP portable server, we could relay any event to any of the seven screens for audience overflow purposes.
One huge benefit in streaming locally via RTMP is there are no venue internet costs. We’ve experienced crazy prices in the past - the most expensive being £7000 in Boston to access a 10mb internet connection. (We ended up bonding our phones and using the 4G network).
The event was a great success and one the crew enjoyed enormously, mainly because they got to watch the latest movies and TV series to be released in 2017 and listen to cast, writers and producers.
