The law firm supports a number of charities throughout the year and six members of staff were on hand to spruce up the charity’s sitting room. The YMCA provides supported accommodation to young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and the project was facilitated by the Rotary Satellite Group. The group is a spin-off of the Bishop's Stortford Rotary Club, which carries out hands-on community-focused projects.

Trainee solicitor at Tees Chris Claxton-Shirley said: “We had a great day helping to decorate the headquarters and sanded and painted the walls.

“The next event we’ll be volunteering for will be the YMCAs ‘Sleep Easy’ at Bishop’s Stortford College on 24th to 25th March. By sleeping rough for one night, we are aiming to help the YMCA provide shelter and advice to disadvantaged young people.”

Tees has grown into a full-service practice with five offices across Cambridge, Bishop’s Stortford, Saffron Walden, Royston and Chelmsford.

Tees’ expert and approachable lawyers specialise in many areas of law including: clinical negligence, family, employment, probate and estate planning, residential conveyancing, commercial property and dispute resolution.
