Arthur Rank Hospice has designed and launched a new label to showcase the impressive range of high-fashion and designer brands generously donated to sell in its stores. Keen-eyed fashion lovers and savvy bargain-seekers may have already noticed ‘Arthur’s Label of Love’, highlighting signature pieces now on sale in its Cottenham, Great Shelford, Regent Street (Cambridge) and Mill Road (Cambridge) stores.

Each of the Hospice’s shops will showcase a collection of around ten ‘Label of Love’ pieces, six days a week, which will be replenished to reflect the season’s current catwalk trends and key colours. Some of the stunning items already snapped up or on display in store include a Lavin coat, a Philip Treacy hat, jeans by Replay, LK Bennet shoes as well as skirts, dresses and tops from the likes of Karen Millen, Gabor, Jigsaw and Kaliko.

Retail Manager, Eileen Hughes explains how the label came about: “We have been thrilled with the volume of high-fashion labels donated to our charity shops, spurred on still further since we opened our boutique shops in Shelford and Cottenham. Thanks to the generosity and trust of our fabulous donors – who have such warmth and love for the Charity - we are becoming recognised as a fashion destination shop, with such quality labels the norm rather than the exception. With such wonderful key pieces on sale to complement the savvy-shoppers wardrobe, we felt the next logical step was a label to highlight those key pieces to love, wear and treasure. We are delighted to see customers reappear day after day and week after week, unsure of what will grace our shelves next and this is exactly what makes charity shopping so exciting!”

In addition to those special fashionista items picked out to feature on ‘Arthur’s Label of Love’, visitors to the Charity’s four high street shops will find the usual array of good quality men’s, women’s and children’s brands on sale. Prices on both catwalk and high quality labels continue to be set at levels which simultaneously maximise income for the Charity, whilst providing great value for those who shop in store.

The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity’s Cambridge based high street stores can be found at 30 Regent’s Street (9.30am-5.00pm) and 222 Mill Road (9.30am-5.00pm), with the Great Shelford shop located at 34 Woollards Lane (9.00am-5.00pm) and the newest Cottenham shop in what was the village’s Post Office at 230 High Street (9.00-4.30pm).
