NESIC will now directly resell Darktrace’s AI across its extensive client base in Japan.

“After realizing the fundamental power of the Enterprise Immune System, we deployed Darktrace at scale throughout our organization in Japan,” said Hiroshi Nagao, Associate Senior Vice President, NESIC. “Darktrace’s unique machine learning and 3D Threat Visualizer gives us the ability to swiftly detect and respond to threatening anomalies in real time. This new partnership will enable NESIC’s extensive clientele to strengthen their security using autonomous defence, as part of our holistic, 24/7 service. By augmenting security teams with AI, Darktrace meets the national demand for more cyber security professionals, helping organizations of all sizes stay one step ahead of the evolving threat.”

Founded in 1953, NESIC provides integrated communication services and sophisticated engineering and facility management capabilities for a broad range of customers, including telecommunications carriers, enterprises and government agencies.

Modelled after the human immune system, the Enterprise Immune System leverages AI to develop a ‘pattern of life’ for every user and device on a network. Darktrace’s self-learning platform detects and autonomously responds to emerging threats in real time by generating ‘digital antibodies’ to neutralize attacks and prevent damage. This new partnership will fast-track the adoption of Darktrace’s technology across NESIC’s customer base in Japan, empowering more organizations to effectively defend against even the most sophisticated cyber-threats, including ‘unknown unknowns’.

“As the cyber war rages on, we are seeing the first signs of automated, machine-led attacks,” said John Kirch, Japan Country Manager, Darktrace. “Human teams are consistently outpaced in their ability to stay ahead of the entire spectrum of cyber-attacks – ranging from fast-spreading ransomware to subtle and stealthy ‘trust attacks’ and insider threat. Now with over 3,000 global deployments, Darktrace has the world’s first and only proven AI platform that can detect and fight back against in-progress threats. We are delighted about our collaboration with NESIC that will enable more forward-thinking Japanese companies to defend themselves against today’s increasingly pernicious threats.”
