EY announces new Office Managing Partner in Luton

Anup Sodhi has been appointed Office Managing Partner in EY’s Luton office, leading the firm’s 200-strong local practice.

Anup, an audit partner based in Luton, joined EY in 2004 and has worked in many regional offices including Birmingham. He specialises in the delivery of audit and assurance services across a variety of industries and has extensive experience with global businesses, as well as entrepreneurial start-ups and mid-market companies.

Anup brings an in-depth understanding of the full breadth of EY’s service offerings and capabilities along with an excellent network across the firm, making him well-positioned to take on the role of Office Managing Partner, following Andy Clewer’s decision to step down.

Anup Sodhi comments: “I’m thrilled to take on this role leading EY’s Luton office at what is an exciting time for the region. The current economic and political environment as we head towards leaving the European Union will create opportunities as well as challenges, but I’m confident that the region will continue to be a great place for businesses to invest and grow.

“EY’s Luton office has grown from strength to strength under Andy’s excellent guidance and the region remains an important market for EY as demand for our services continues to grow.”

Debbie O’Hanlon, National Markets Leader at EY, commented: “Anup is an excellent choice to lead EY’s business and team here in Luton. He brings with him extensive knowledge of the local market which, together with his experience and determination to help the region grow and succeed, will be vital in broadening our service offering, and supporting EY’s expansion ambitions across the wider East region.”
