Final call for entries to the 2018 Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards

Have you entered the Cambridge Independent's Science and Technology Awards yet?

Entry is due to close on Monday July 16.

A celebration of companies across the science and technology sectors, the awards will be judged by an expert panel and a ceremony will be held on November 1 at the Hilton Cambridge City Centre Hotel.

To enter, fill in a simple online form on the Cambridge Independent's website.

The awards feature a host of categories: 

  • Start-up of the Year, sponsored by Regus
  • Researcher of the Year, sponsored by AstraZeneca / MedImmune 
  • AI Company of the Year , sponsorship available
  • Biotech Company of the Year, sponsored by Appleyard Lees 
  • Medtech Company of the Year, sponsored by Chesterford Research Park
  • Cleantech Company of the Year, sponsorship available 
  • Agritech Company of the Year, sponsored by SmithsonHill
  • Games Company of the Year, sponsored by Woodfines
  • The One to Watch, sponsored by Cofinitive
  • CEO of the Year, sponsored by Grant Thornton
  • Technology Company of the Year, sponsored by COEL 
  • Life Sciences Company of the Year, sponsored by BioStrata

Companies can enter more than one category at one time, and individuals can nominate themselves, or be nominated. 

Two new sponsors have joined the awards since they were launched: Chesterford Research Park and office design and fit-out specialists COEL.

The Cambridge Independent is the UK's Weekly Newspaper of the Year for the second year running (NewsAwards).

Published on Wednesdays and available in stores throughout the week, the newspaper was launched by Iliffe Media in 2016.
