Double first for dB Broadcast

dB Broadcast, the UK’s leading Systems Integrator, has recruited two new engineers, both with first class degrees in Media Technology. Alexander Quince and William Mooney, both graduates of the University of Salford, will join the 20-strong team under Graham Pearl, Engineering Director, working on a wide variety of client projects.

Both Alex (pictured) and Will have previous experience with another Broadcast Systems Integrator, and start with immediate effect. Will Mooney has previously worked on projects for BBC WorldWide 2020 and the University of Edinburgh; Alex Quince also worked on the university project. At dB, they will initially be working on London based studio projects.

“It gives me great pleasure to welcome Alex and Will to the dB Broadcast team”, says Tom Swan, Sales and Marketing Director. “Maintaining a skilled and highly trained permanent workforce is a particular strength of dB, enabling us to work efficiently, and to build great long-term client relationships.”

dB now employs more than 20 full time engineering staff in addition to more than 30 contract engineers, enabling it to tackle the largest of projects. At the end of last year, dB delivered a state-of-the-art broadcast facility for Bloomberg Television at their new European HQ in London, and is working on a new IP based studio facility for BBC Wales.
