RiverRhee releases new dates for courses for leaders, managers and individual team members
Assertiveness. Tuesday 5th March. This is one of RiverRhee’s newer courses to complement their courses and modules on Effective Influencing and Communication, and on Dealing with Difficult Situations. In an increasingly expanding and challenging environment, scientists and managers need to work together to achieve the most positive outcomes for their business. Delegates on the RiverRhee Assertiveness course will learn how to communicate their thoughts effectively so that they can not only benefit their business but also obtain what they need for their own professional development.
Introduction to Management. Tuesday 12th to Thursday 14th March. A foundation course for newly appointed managers and more experienced ones wanting more formal training. It equips line managers and project leaders with tools and techniques that will enable them to progress smoothly and effectively from a team member to a management role. The three days are based around John Adair's 3-part framework of managing the individual, developing the team, and managing the task.
Introduction to Lean and Six Sigma. Wednesday 27th March. Explore how to gain up to 20% savings on internal processes, free up talent to innovate and grow the business, and (continue to) deliver what your customers value. The training event combines process mapping and improvement approaches to help participants make the most of their time and resources, and to ensure that each member of their team is making the most of their talents. The knowledge gained from the course will enable participants to critically review their deliverables (products and services), how they go about their work, and how they can work more efficiently on a continuous basis, whilst delivering a quality service to their customers.
Transition to Leadership. Tuesday 11th April. This one-day course is targeted at managers who have attended RiverRhee’s 3-day course, and those who have recently moved to, or are planning to move to a more senior leadership role. It explores emotional intelligence, deeper insights into personality types, adapting your leadership style and how to blend strategic thinking, influencing and change techniques to achieve engagement and ownership by your employees.
Coaching Skills for Managers. Tuesday 11th June. This one-day course develops managers’ skill and confidence for getting the best out of every employee. It explores when to apply coaching techniques and develops skills in listening, questioning and giving feedback. There is lots of practice on real scenarios and action planning to implement the new skills.
