Terry hits the heights with flights in 200 aircraft

Terry Holloway, the Managing Director of the Cambridge Aero Club, achieved a very significant flying milestone on the 31st of March when he flew his 200th different aircraft type - a PW6 glider at the Essex Gliding Club at Ridgewell. Very few pilots experience such a large number of types.

Terry, who is a flying instructor with the Cambridge Aero Club, is also a very accomplished glider pilot who in 1995 was the first Englishman to fly over the Andes from Chile to Argentina in a glider.

Terry is pictured with Mike Harris the former Chairman of the Essex Gliding Club, who flew with him on his milestone flight!
