Managing Equality Diversity and Inclusion - CMI Bitesize Online

In the wake of major social and political developments in recent years, the business case for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is greater than ever.

This series will enable the learner to understand the business case for equality, diversity and inclusion and the role of managers in creating inclusive cultures.  It focuses on the skills required for inclusive leadership and how to adapt leadership styles to support others in seeing the benefits of inclusion.  It will enable learners to analyse the requirements for managing, planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting on equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives. 

The programmes within this series are;

  • Legal and organisational approaches to equality, diversity and inclusion - this programme aims to give you, the learner, a deeper understanding of the impact of legislative requirements, justify the business case and approaches to promoting ED&I
     
  • Roles and responsibilities of a manager in relation to equality, diversity and inclusion -this programme is designed to enable you to gain an awareness of what is expected of managers in terms of workplace ED&I
     
  • Initiating and planning change - This programme aims to outline the practical approaches to develop and implement plans and reports to support ED&I within an organisation 

Course Structure
This course is an interactive online learning programme provided by the CMI, the course is fully aligned to CMI Professional Standards and Level 5 qualifications. Each programme will take you around 270 minutes to complete. As part of your enrolment you will receive 3 months subscription to CMI and will receive a digital Certificate of Achievement on completion. Foundation Chartered Manager is also awarded on completion of 3 programmes from the CMI Bitesize range.
