When organisations are going through unprecedented change such as at the present time, what are some of the key skills and knowledge that managers can utilise to support their teams through transition?
Cambridge Network trainers Liz Smith and Paul Sanderson will be taking us through this one hour interactive webinar, providing an exploration of the impact of change on yourself, your colleagues and your teams.
During the seminar we will:
-
Briefly sample periods of change that the attendees have experienced and typically what went well or not so well. What were the re-occuring themes from these periods?
-
Discuss models of change that deal with the psychological and emotional aspects of transition, including the work of William Bridges and his 3 stage model of transition management.
-
Reframe resistance to change as an energy that can be harnessed.
-
Outline some of the strategies and actions that could be taken to support colleagues and teams through the current transition.
There will be time for some Q&A at the end of the session in order for you to further explore how the content discussed might apply to the particular challenges and situations you are facing.
The session will take place at 11am - 12pm on Thursday 30th April. Please sign up to take part! Participants will be sent a link to join via Zoom prior to the start time.
