About the session

Join Carlos Eriksson, Accessibility Lead at Studio 24, to look at your website with fresh eyes and see it from the customer perspective. While Covid-19 has increased the demand for buying online, Carlos will explain why your website will be losing customers by not being accessible. Learn simple and effective ways to improve accessibility on your website, attract more customers and increase sales.

About the speaker

Carlos makes the places you can visit from a computer better for everyone, not just the people it is easy for.

Since working closely with people with permanent mental and physical disabilities back in Finland, Carlos has been on over a decade-long quest to make the web better for everyone, not just the people it is easy for.

His hands-on experience supporting and helping people live independent lives and seeing the broken state of the web they had to endure became the driving force for change.

Since then, he’s been championing to create a more inclusive technology industry by first recognising exclusion.

With teaching, public speaking and by writing in industry-recognised print publications, such as net magazine, he continues to educate and empower peers and people alike, on how to transform their organisations to make a better web for everyone.

The session will take place at 11am - 12 noon on Wednesday 22nd July. Please sign up to take part! Participants will be sent a link to join via Zoom prior to the start time.
