Care Network Cambridgeshire
A trusted local charity we've been active in Cambridgeshire for over 35 years. We support adults and communities to improve their health and wellbeing through a person-centred approach. Working alongside them to make informed choices that improve confidence and connection.
We do this in collaboration with local health, statutory and VCSE partners and are looking for opportunities to work with local businesses who share our values to create meaningful sustainable change in our communities.
Our objectives are timeless and caring, delivered by committed staff and volunteers. We are proud our our local history and impact and can demonstrate this through our robust data and reporting systems.
Our services are innovative and responsive to local needs and include:
- Help at Home: practical and emotional support from our volunteers to help people in their own homes following a hospital stay, period of illness or personal crisis to stay safe and independent
- Community Navigators: a gateway to information and support to help people live well and stay connected to their community
- Wellbeing: One-to-one support to enhance wellbeing, build confidence and help people to reengage with their community
- Support to local groups and activities, such as community car schemes, good neighbour schemes and groups with a focus on health and wellbeing, to help them become established and remain sustainable.
Our work is preventative in nature and we look to empower people and communities to live happier, healthier and independent lives.
