The security solutions offered by Iar to our customers are driven by what we refer to as the 4'A of Security: Authentication, Active intellectual property protection, Anti-rollback, and Anti-cloning.
•Authentication means establishing a chain-of-trust and associated cryptographic features to ensure that the product, including its application is authentic.
•Active IP ensures that a user's intellectual property is protected, from the production of their products throughout the life of the product while out in the field.
•Anti-rollback or rollback control ensures that an attacker cannot rollback a product's firmware to a version that contains security vulnerabilities. This is now a legislative requirement in some countries.
•Anti-cloning is the prevention of the copying the firmware from an authorised device to an unauthorised one.
