'Be Inclusive, Recruit, Retain' Event

The Department of Work & Pensions invites you to learn more about being inclusive, recruiting and retaining a wealth of untapped talent your business could be missing out on.

Disabled people in this country make up a dedicated, loyal, and skilled workforce who could help your business in a time of increased competition for good employees and avoid you getting caught out by skills shortages.

This event, supported by Daniel Zeichner MP, is designed to showcase the business benefits employers like yourself could be missing out on by not employing disabled job seekers.

Date: 26th May 2023 11am – 1pm
Venue: Guildhall, Cambridge.

You will have the unique opportunity to network with other local employers who will   explain the steps they have taken and the benefits their businesses have gained because of employing experienced and highly qualified disabled people.

Also, you will hear testimonials from inspirational and motivating speakers and be able to talk to qualified staff from the Department of Work and Pensions. They can offer you advice on the Disability Confident scheme and the support that is available through Access to Work to assist with recruitment. We will give you the help and support to enable you to meet your recruitment needs from a much wider pool of talent.

If you would like to find out just how disabled people can make a major contribution to the success of your business, then join us at this event. Don't miss out on this valuable pool of potential skills and the financial, operational, and social benefits that being a Disability Confident employer can bring.
