Welcome to CONEXEN Cambridge – a warm and welcoming hub for professionals in pharma, biotech, life sciences, and health tech in Cambridge! Here, we invite you to join us for an informal and friendly gathering where connections are made, knowledge is shared, and friendships are formed. Come with an open heart and a willingness to “listen” rather than “sell.”
While the venue is still to be confirmed, our usual meeting spot is in the heart of Cambridge City Centre. It’s a casual setting where we can come together, exchange greetings, engage in conversation, and simply enjoy a pleasant time.
Picture this as more than just an event—it’s a community gathering. Our focus is on providing you with an opportunity to meet fellow professionals in a relaxed and amiable environment. We’ll share conversations over delicious food and drinks, listen to inspiring speakers, continue chatting, and leave with a sense of excitement and a pocketful of new contacts and ideas.

The format of the night:
18.00 – 18.30 – doors open – drinks, networking, and smiles
18.30 – 19.15 – introduction and Panel begin: Pathways to Possibility: Navigating career transitions in Life Sciences and Biopharma.
19.15 – 20.30 – talks finish, networking, listening, saying hello, and meeting great people
20.30 – end of the night – you leave with new contacts and fresh ideas

This is a ticketed event (£15 + those pesky fees from Eventbrite). Food is included and drinks are available to purchase from the bar.
We, of course, understand that these are tough times, so if you are experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford it amount, please reach out to rollynd.aldea@conexen.net and we’ll find a ticket for you (provided capacity hasn’t already been reached!)
Please let your colleagues and industry friends know about this group too, we hope to build it into a great resource for the community over the coming months and years. Attendance will be taken at this event. If you sign up but don’t show up, this has a knock on effect on event arrangements. If it happens 3 times, we may need to reconsider your participation. This is simply a measure to allow appropriate respect to the organisers, speakers, sponsors, and your fellow Conexers.
