Reward Planing for 2022.
Rewards & Benefits Peer Group
Many companies will be starting to plan pay reviews for 2022 and this session has been planned with that in mind. Firstly looking at salary. As many companies move to normalise hybrid working questions continue to arise about work location and pay. Vanessa Landreneau from Hummingbird Consulting will share some thoughts on geographical pay differences in the UK, and how companies consider this in the context of hybrid work and recruitment for location independant jobs.
As some of that location independant thinking is also leading to more questions than ever from employees about working abroad, we have invited Deb Crouch from Deb Crouch Consulting, a global mobility specialist, to share some insight about managing employees working remotely from another country.
We will also include a poll among participants to capture local pay review budget plans and leave some time for discussion and questions to both Deb and Vanessa and to each other.
Vanessa Landreneau is an employee reward specialist, whom a number of you will know; Vanessa works with companies to develop competitive, fair, and coherent employee reward strategies, with a focus on pay management, grading structures and incentive design.
Deb Crouch is a global mobility tax professional, helping businesses navigate the myriad of areas connected with employees working remotely overseas or moving internationally. With over 30 years experience in this field the combination of Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic means more that ever employees are working in a country separate to their employers. Unfortunately tax and social security systems are not yet geared-up for the “work from home” or “work from anywhere” revolution. Deb formerly worked in the Big 4 and set-up her business 5 years ago to help companies without in-house global mobility resource.
This promises to be an interesting session so come armed with questions to ask the group or share your experiences so far.
This event is FREE and for our members only. Please get in touch with Ruth Carter to book your place.
