Winter Wellness: Beating the Winter Blues

When it comes to mental health and wellbeing, winter can be one of the most challenging times of the year. Short days, limited sunshine and colder weather all impact our mood and energy so it’s no coincidence that Blue Monday, dubbed the most depressing day of the year, falls in January.

In this series we’ll explore practical, research-backed strategies rooted in hypnotherapy and nutrition to support physical and mental health, building emotional resilience, to help you move through the winter season with ease, ready to leap into spring.

Tuesday 21st January: Embracing the Seasonal Shift

Tuesday 28th January: Maintaining your inner glow

· Nutrition focus on warming, comforting foods that nourish body and soul

· Strategies for maintaining connection and renewal in the winter months

· Hypnotherapy for building emotional resilience, optimism and inner calm

 

Tuesday 4th February: Boosting Your Winter Immunity

· Eating to support your immune system

· Strategies for maintaining movement and motivation in the shorter days

· Hypnotherapy for stress reduction and immune system support

 

Tuesday 11th February: Optimizing Sleep and Energy

· Nutrition to promote better sleep and sustained energy

· Techniques and tips to optimise your sleep environment

· Hypnotherapy for improved sleep quality and duration

 

What to expect:

In each weekly 90 minute online session, there will be guidance on a relevant nutritional topic, with time for discussions and Q&A with expert nutritionist, Sophie Pelham Burn.

The second part of the session will be led by award winning hypnotherapist, sleep and stress management consultant, Melanie Davies, who will share her knowledge and expertise to help you optimise your winter sleep habits before guiding you with deeply relaxing hypnosis to support your mind and body to work in comfortable harmony with the season, helping you to shed stress and connect to your inner calm.

Learning from the nutrition section of the session will be secured through the hypnotherapy so that any changes you wish to make will come easily and naturally in the following days and weeks.

All sessions will be recorded and emailed to participants, so if you can’t make one of the live sessions don’t worry, you can still watch the recording at a time that suits you.
