Dr David Cleevely, CSaP's founding director - who is also a former Cambridge Network chairman - led the discussion, with speeches by Chris Floyd of Rolls-Royce; Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz, Cambridge University’s Vice-Chancellor; and Ian Watmore, former permanent secretary at the Cabinet Office and one of the main drivers of the government's IT strategy.
Following the visit by Francis Maude a week ago it is evident that Cambridge is being recognised for the quality of input on both academic and business routes to growth and prosperity for the UK.
