CES, the Consumer Electronics Show, is the world's largest and most influential technology event, held annually in Las Vegas since 1967. It serves as the global stage for breakthrough innovations, showcasing cutting edge products and technologies from a variety of sectors including digital health, sports and fitness, smart homes, AI, vehicle tech and many more. With over 141,000 attendees from more than 150 countries and over 4,500 exhibitors from around the globe, CES is a prime networking hub for industry leaders, innovators, investors, and media professionals alike.
The 2025 event marked electronRx's second appearance at CES, following a successful debut in 2024. With half the team returning, our presence spanned experiences in commercial, engineering, and clinical, offering a well-rounded perspective on the event experience. This year, CES continued to reinforce its position as the leading event for showcasing technological advancements and discovering the latest market trends; however it was shocking to find the sheer lack of support for those from the growing UK tech space with only 46 of the 4,500 exhibitors travelling across, highlighting the need for government support for events such as CES.
Dr Bipin Patel - CEO & Founder: " There's something profoundly surreal about standing amidst humanity's technological frontier. As I walked through the doors of CES 2025 for the second time as CEO of electronRx, that familiar surge of excitement rushed through me—the kind that comes from knowing you're about to witness tomorrow's world today. This time was different, though. We weren't just observers; we were part of the narrative, showcasing technology that could fundamentally transform respiratory health and empower 540 million people." Charlotte - Marketing: "Planning for CES 2025 kicked off shortly after returning from the previous year's event. Our booth was secured in the spring, with marketing strategies taking shape by early summer. Much of the marketing legwork happened well before the event itself, ensuring a solid foundation for our presence. On the ground, the focus shifted to operational execution, from booth setup, tech testing, and ensuring that prearranged meetings, media tours, and key contacts were effectively engaged. Alongside this coordinating the team's schedule was essential for maximising our impact across the extensive event locations."
"Reflecting on the experience, it became evident that familiarity leads to efficiency. Returning with insights from CES 2024 allowed us to generate more valuable conversations and simplify the logistics. CES can be overwhelming for first time exhibitors, with multiple suppliers and affiliated platforms creating a complex entry process. Often, key information isn't readily available, requiring persistence and the right network of contacts to navigate the event effectively."
"Though my time exploring other technologies was limited due to the high level of activity at our booth, a highlight was engaging with professionals from industries such as sports and fitness, smart cities and AI . These interactions underscored the versatility of our purpleDx technology, highlighting its potential beyond digital health applications."
Sophie - Commercial: "Attending CES was an interesting experience for electronRx, providing us with an excellent opportunity to showcase our unique technology on a global stage. The event allowed us to engage with a wide range of industries, explore potential collaborations, and envision how our innovations could adapt to and enhance various sectors."
"The advancements across technology made it particularly exciting to see how our remote monitoring product has the potential to create a real impact from business to clinician to patient. "
"CES not only affirmed the capabilities of our technology but also highlighted how it could seamlessly integrate with and empower other industries. Reinforcing our commitment to driving innovation and creating solutions that meet the evolving needs of the world. "
Lucas – Data Scientist: "At CES 2025, digital health took center stage, focusing on enabling comprehensive home care and reducing hospital visits. I was struck by the key trends such as advancements in hearing and vision technologies, the evolution of wearables into clinically approved remote monitoring tools, and innovations in sleep technology. Emerging areas featured hormonal* and neurological sensors, AI-enhanced diagnostics, and telehealth solutions. I noticed that many digital health technologies leverage machine learning through cloud computation and data analysis, while some rely solely on edge-based hardware devices. Our company electronRx is currently uniquely placed in the optical-based lung volumetric measurement space, which is both exciting and technologically challenging, as we are truly pioneers in this space, affirmed by the absence of competitors as CES2025."

As a final-year life sciences student with a business management focus, I’ve spent years studying the science and strategies that drive innovation. However, seeing the real-world applications of biotechnology and other groundbreaking technologies showcased at CES has been a profoundly eye-opening experience. It has offered a unique perspective on how cutting-edge ideas can transcend the classroom and evolve into solutions that address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.”
“What struck me most was the incredible creativity and ingenuity behind the technologies on display. From AI-driven health diagnostics to advanced biosensors and sustainable solutions, CES was a testament to technological innovation's sheer breadth and depth. Witnessing these breakthroughs firsthand has been both inspiring and motivating. It reinforced the idea that the intersection of biotechnology and technology is not just about science—it’s about envisioning and building a better future.”
