Clinical Trials Coordinator (Part Time, Fixed Term)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the SOUND Lab in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences. This role is being funded by an NIHR Programme Grant for Applied Research to investigate the use of BEARS (Both EARS) virtual reality spatial hearing training for children and young people with bilateral cochlear implants.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to translational research relevant for deaf children and young people and be part of an enthusiastic clinical research team.

Key job functions

To facilitate and coordinate the running of the BEARS study in Cambridge. Supporting screening, sending out information to potential participants and delivering the measures involved in the trial. The role needs to track recruitment and enter relevant data into the trial database. The team member will work closely with the Lead investigator (Professor Debi Vickers) and the local research team.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 December 2025 in the first instance.
