Cellular Origins
Cell therapies have been shown to cure devasting and previously untreatable diseases like cancer by re-programming the patient’s own immune system. Giving more patients access to these life-saving therapies requires a revolution in manufacturing and process automation.
Cellular Origins, a TTP company, is leading this revolution. Our proprietary technology tackles the challenges of large-scale production with an elegant robotic automation system that cuts costs, reduces labour, eliminates human error, and boosts efficiency.
We’re now looking for a Head of Robotics to join the rapidly growing team.
Head of Robotics
As Head of Robotics you’ll lead the multidisciplinary robotics team within Cellular Origins; defining, designing, building and testing mobile robotics solutions for cell therapy manufacturing. You’ll work closely with other technical leads to ensure the functional requirements and architecture of our robots are set to seamlessly integrate into the full functionality of our Constellation system.
Your expertise and in-depth in robotics engineering will be invaluable as you collaborate with your peers to bring our system to life. You’ll have experience with advanced robotics and automation systems, but also bring flexibility in your approach, gained from your experience working in cross collaborative teams. Your technical breadth will enable you to quickly grasp new ideas and collaborate effectively across the product development and manufacturing teams.
Reporting to the COO, you’ll be responsible for developing engineering and testing plans, communicating progress and ensuring your team are appropriately resourced. Leadership of the robotics team will require you to be technically strong but also apply appropriate levels of project management to ensure plans are executed on time and to a high quality.
You’ll join a fast-growing, interdisciplinary, team with a passion for solving a worthwhile problem. This is somewhere to really make your mark, working in a technically challenging and impact-driven venture, with bright and committed peers, to define the future of cell therapy manufacturing. Are you ready to join the mission?
