Process and Automation Engineer

We design scalable, energy efficient-processors and related technologies to deliver the intelligence in applications ranging from sensors to servers, including smartphones, tablets, enterprise infrastructure and the Internet of Things.

Job Overview:

Arm designs the technology that lies at the heart of advanced digital products from mobile, home and enterprise solutions to embedded and emerging applications. Operational management is central to delivering this technology within each of Arm’s business groups.

The Engineering Efficiency team within Arm Operations sits across the Arm business to ensure successful delivery of projects. We are responsible for evolving a strong governance framework, a robust project delivery process, training and development to evolve our people, the tools to enable successful projects and the data and reporting to understand delivery status and to support decision-making.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivation Process and Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimising automated systems and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity within our organisation. This role requires a blend of engineering expertise, business analysis, process mapping, and a strong understanding of automation technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Process design and optimisation: Analyse current processes and work together with process owners to identify areas of improvement. Develop and implement optimised process designs to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Automation development: Design, program, and test automation. Integrate various automation technologies to create seamless and efficient workflows. Develop and maintain software documentation.
  • Business Analysis: Lead automation projects for engineering delivery processes from feasibility to completion. Collation of requirements by co-ordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyse automation systems for performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency. Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in automation technologies.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Experience in process design, automation systems and business analysis
  • Proficiency in programming languages and integration coding such as Python, SQL, Java and Selenium
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
