Europe's top cancer charity, Cancer Research UK, has combined with the University of Cambridge to fund the world class Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute, situated on the Addenbrookes Biomedical Campus in Cambridge.
As part of the University Of Cambridge School Of Clinical Medicine, the Institute's research ranges from basic cancer biology through translational cancer research to clinical application. The Institute currently houses over 400 researchers and support staff with 18 research groups and associated core facilities in a state-of-the-art research facility.
The Pharmacokinetics/Bioanalytics (PK/B) Core Facility based in the CRUK Cambridge Institute offers a diverse analytical service to the research groups for the quantification of small molecules in support of a wide range of pre-clinical and clinical based projects. The role will involve the development, validation and execution of quantitative LC-MS/MS methods for small molecules in a wide variety of biological matrices.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and focussed individual willing to learn new laboratory skills. The role holder will be expected to focus on developing and validating bioanalytical assays according to the relevant regulatory guidelines, and apply these methods to routine analysis of samples from pre-clinical and clinical studies.
