The Research Information Team is looking to welcome a new team member who will help maintain research information management systems, facilitate data collection, and provide system support and guidance to colleagues across the University.

You will work within our team of data and systems specialists, ensuring the smooth running of established processes, and helping with the delivery of a new transformation programme. You will need to build effective relationships with colleagues at all levels across the Collegiate University and identify opportunities for process improvement.

You will be expected to:

  • Gather, review and maintain data for statutory returns and assessment exercises, monitoring progress closely to ensure timely completion and well-maintained audit trails.

  • Encourage engagement with key research information management systems amongst both academic and administrative staff.

  • Implement communications campaigns, develop guidance and training materials, keeping messaging fresh and relevant.

  • Provide a professional front line system support service with diplomacy and tact, acting as first point of contact for colleagues at all levels.

  • Coordinate day to day administration for the team, arranging meetings, updating and organising documentation via Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online.

Do you have:

  • Experience of a customer facing role

  • Enthusiasm for collaborative working and communicating with stakeholders to effectively complete tasks, and

  • The ability to understand and monitor complex data in Excel and produce clear written explanations and guidance for both specialist and non-specialist users?
