Who we are
The Self-Lay team support the growth of the Self-Lay and New Appointments and Variations (NAV) market within our region. We are part of Development Services, helping to deliver new infrastructure including the installation of new water mains for housing developments, water mains diversions & reinforcements, service connections, and metering.
We are responsible for ensuring our customers are supported and have all the correct training and knowledge. This ensures their infrastructure meets our internal standards, protecting water quality and helping us to create sustainable assets for the future.
What Will You Be Doing as a Self-Lay Project Co-Ordinator?
You will form a crucial link between our Self-Lay Providers (SLP), NAV customers and internal teams. Working collaboratively with both internal and external customers, you will support and monitor various construction and administrative activities throughout the lifecycle of a project. You will be a vital role in supporting all aspects of scheme delivery for our customers, influencing things such as Health and Safety, Commercial Sustainability and Customer Satisfaction.
In this varied role, you’ll provide a comprehensive and seamless service to our customers who require a connection to Anglian Water’s infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring that all customer communications are positive and constructive, ensuring customer satisfaction and that decisions are made with commercial focus. You will enable efficient project administration alongside our Project Liaison Managers (PLM) to ensure internal and external Levels of Service are met and escalated as appropriate.

Your tenacity, attention to detail, and ability to work multiple projects within tight deadlines will be vitally important. You must be a team player who is self-motivated, with ability to learn new skills while working in a fast-paced team. You will offer excellent customer service internally and externally, allowing us to exceed customer expectations and hit our DMeX ODI.
