About the Role
As part of the Cambridge Relocation Project Team, you’ll be at the forefront of one of the UK’s most exciting infrastructure programmes. You’ll create, embed and support a positive health, safety, wellbeing and right-first-time quality culture within the team whilst being part of the assurance function for safety, health, environment and quality to ensure that Anglian Water is fulfilling its legal obligations as Client.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a client Audit and Assurance Plan for SHEQ
Undertake a series of varied assurance activities, oversight, audits, and site inspections, attending partner (JV) meetings
Produce information and updates for board reports on SHEQ audits and assurance
Oversight of competency matrix (including JV which will include PD and PC)
Promote best practice across partner organisations and projects with a view to levelling up SHE performance for all
Ensure stakeholders meet as a minimum the requirements of the AW SMS
Liaise with the CDM practitioner team to ensure CDM is being applied (oversight of PCI/CPP)
Provide oversight to ensure that Safety by Design is being considered and that operational and maintenance risk is being mitigated
Support incident investigations for Major Infrastructure team and provide oversight and review for stakeholder incidents
What You’ll Need
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven track record in a Health and Safety related role/s
NEBOSH Diploma
An extensive understanding of both Environmental Law, Health and Safety Law including CDM Regulations
Significant experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders within an organisation
Demonstratable success in developing and advancing business processes in line with continuous improvement
A commitment to sustainability and a passion for delivering high-impact solutions
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Expertise in wastewater treatment, environmental management, or related fields.
