Participants will leave this workshop with a host of practical tools, individual lists and actions which they will have created during the workshop about their own teams, stakeholders and their influencing style preferences. There will be ample opportunity for co-working on stakeholder maps and plans to ensure every aspect is considered and action plans are achievable.
Objectives
This course will help you to:
- Develop a deeper understanding of stakeholders, both internal and external, their wants and needs, and the impact of decisions on them
- Understand the elements of (employee) engagement on creativity, problem-solving, psychosocial risk and discretionary effort
- Grasp the realities of stakeholder power, interest and the ability to influence

The Trainers
This course is facilitated by Darren Newman and Diana Barden.
Darren is a seasoned programme and project manager with over 30 years of experience, specialising in programme management, project delivery, and change management. As a member of The Association for Project Management, Darren now focuses on sharing his expertise by training others in the application of project management techniques. With a strong background in aerospace engineering, Darren has successfully led major programmes in highly regulated industries, including organisational design, transformation, and systems integration.
Diana has over twenty years of experience in operational, training, development, and coaching roles, working with global organisations in various industries across the UK, Switzerland, and Germany. She specialises in interpersonal skills, communicating with confidence, and management skills development and delivers in English and German. Diana has designed and implemented numerous projects, including management development programs and performance management systems, and has extensive experience in running assessment and development centers across Europe and the USA.
