The Guardtech Group are gearing up for a new year with a renewed focus. The cleanroom construction specialists are intent on taking their ‘full package’ cleanroom offering to more new clients than ever before in 2023.
The Group and its five sub-divisions enjoyed the busiest year in the company’s history last year – and that pace looks set to continue over the coming months, with a number of large-scale projects either recently signed off or in the design and construction stages.
Cleanroom Solutions, the turnkey construction arm of the Group led on site by Projects Director Sean Gaylard, already have a string of major builds line up for the first half of 2023, including a 1,700sqm ISO8 Aerospace build in the south of England, 170sqm ISO6 Micro-electronics project in Cambridgeshire, 510sqm ISO8 Life Sciences construction at the same site and a cleanroom HVAC upgrade for a previous client in Devon.
Guardtech Cleanrooms, under the collective leadership of Project Managers Elliott Pearce, Arran Williams and Craig Druce, will be delivering their modular magic on projects in Ireland (60sqm ISO6 Semiconductor), Gloucestershire (12sqm ISO7 Softwall Isopod) and Devon (110sqm ISO5 R&D facility), as well as continuing work on a 140sqm electro-optical engineering cleanroom in Kent.
The Group’s Services team will also have their hands full, with scheduled validations for projects in Staffordshire (Medical Device), Essex (plastic card manufacturers), Somerset (medical technical fabrics), Oxfordshire (Cell & Gene Therapy) and Cambridgeshire (Micro-electronics).
This is alongside bespoke CleanCube (portable) and Isopod (rapid) cleanroom products for clients overseas – with a CleanCube Maxi due to be shipped to Sweden and two quick-assembly Softwall Isopods earmarked for neighbouring Denmark.
The international market is set to go from strength to strength for CleanCube and Isopod, with both businesses forecasting their most profitable years yet as the Group further expands its distribution network.
“We’re in a really good place at the start of 2023,” said Mark Wheeler, the Guardtech Group’s Commercial Director. “We have a really strong series of projects lined up for Cleanroom Solutions, which is testament to how we’ve built upon that legacy brand as a go-to name for turnkey cleanroom construction.
“The beginning of last year was all about introducing the new Group set-up – now, a year on, we want to not only consolidate all the amazing work we’ve done but move forward yet again, continue to grow the Group as a whole, bring in even more brilliant new staff and increase our reach globally.
“We’re building some really strong reputations for each individual business and that’s helping the overall Guardtech Group package become stronger than ever.”
As well as another busy schedule of builds, the Group are also set to unveil a number of useful marketing tools to assist customers in their cleanroom journey, including a brand-new comprehensive brochure for Cleanroom Solutions and new websites for CleanCube, Cleanroom Solutions and Guardtech Cleanrooms.
The CleanCube website is scheduled for launch next month and that’s not the only good news for that particular branch of the Guardtech Group – with a new dedicated CleanCube manufacturing facility secured in Suffolk which allows Guardtech to quadruple CleanCube’s production capacity.
Showroom units will soon be available for clients to learn more about the product – and the CleanCube team are urging potential clients to get in touch with the team and book a showcase to see what CleanCube is all about.
The Guardtech Group are also delighted to welcome new Business Growth & Development Lead Jack Pummell to the Commercial Team.
With a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of new business, business development, marketing, advertising, creative, social, digital, public relations, direct marketing, e-CRM and data, Jack has worked with an impressive portfolio of clients including Elmwood, GREY, Rowland, Evviva, LONDON, Space & Time Media, Truth, Marmalade, Brass, One, Rapport, Golley Slater, Bray, Cogent Elliott, The Advertist, Universal McCann, Data HQ, CG Consultancy and Go2 Group.

Also, working on a wonderfully colourful portfolio of companies including marketing services agencies and business to business (b2b) organisations across the UK, Europe, Australia and the USA. I am very excited to be joining the amazing Guardtech team.
“Guardtech offer an incredibly wide range of cleanroom products and services that stretch way beyond construction.
“I’ve been blown away by the scope of what the Service Department and Decontamination Team have to offer and I’m looking forward to securing more support agreements and contracts for them with amazing companies doing really interesting work in their sectors.”
Guardtech are inviting any clients that wish to discuss a consolidated Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contract for all utilities and plant serving their cleanroom to email service@guardtech.com or call 0330 113 0303 so a member of the Guardtech team can take them through their options.
