BDB Pitmans develops internal talent with round of promotions

Leading UK law firm, BDB Pitmans, is delighted to announce the promotion of 16 of its talented lawyers with immediate effect.

Sophie St John and Tim Barwick

This includes two new partners in the firm’s private wealth and real estate teams – Sophie St John and Tim Barwick. Both partners will be based in BDB Pitmans’ London office and bring the total number of partners across the firm to 69.

Sophie St John acts for UK resident and international individuals, providing advice on a wide range of legal and tax issues relating to estate and succession planning, trusts, probate and lasting powers of attorney. She specialises in providing cross border advice for individuals and families with a global footprint.

Tim Barwick is a commercial property and non-contentious construction lawyer with over 25 years’ experience. With expert knowledge in property development, strategic land development, real estate finance, infrastructure and construction, he has acted for a variety of clients, including strategic land funds, local authorities, developers and private sector companies.
