RealVNC join Rathbones, Hewitsons and Cambridge University Press as early corporate members, along with Mike Greene, the first inidvidual member.
The CF100 brings together 100 of Cambridgeshire’s businesses and local people who care about Cambridgeshire and who want to help the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation to continue to support the small, grassroots community organisations that work hard to improve the quality of life for local people who face disadvantage.
The Foundation says: "We hope that the membership will appeal to corporates who wish to focus some of their CSR activity on the community where their businesses operate, as well as individuals who are keen to support our work.
"To join the CF 100, we ask for a minimum commitment of £1,000 a year for three years. The money received will be used to build our Acorn Fund which helps us support local needs, and to build our permanent endowment which releases an annual income to allow us to continue to support local groups over the years to come.
"Members can enjoy an Annual Members Reception which will showcase the difference you are making in Cambridgeshire through the CF100 grant programme, PR & Networking opportunities, regular reports on where Community Foundation 100 grants have been awarded, the opportunity to signpost funding requests to CCF, use of the Community Foundation 100 marketing material and a Membership Certificate to display in reception."
