Boost your career with training this autumn

If you're feeling energised by Olympic success and revitalised by your own summer holiday, think about how you might boost your career by undertaking new training this autumn. The opportunity is right on your doorstep: Cambridge Network's Learning Collaboration is ramping up to offer more quality courses than ever before.

During the past year, the Learning Collaboration (LC) has delivered 194 days of training - more than one every working day. And around 1200 delegates have attended, which means that Cambridge businesses are benefiting directly from a diverse range of courses delivering soft skills, technical and management training at all levels.

LC works on behalf of Cambridge Network members to organise, purchase and share training and management development opportunities. That means all members benefit from economies of scale, gaining improved access to high quality professional training courses at value-for-money prices.

Network membership means you automatically have the right to book on to any LC course at any time, while some categories of membership actually include LC training units.

Forthcoming LC courses include the MBTI programme (22-24 October and 29 November):

HR and training specialists as well as line managers and consultants will benefit in particular from this four-module programme which equips you with a powerful understanding of personality type, and with the skills and knowledge to use the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) psychometric tool with individuals and teams.

Other courses coming up in the next few weeks include:

Alongside formal training, LC operates a series of peer learning groups. These invitation-only knowledge sharing groups bring together small groups of people from across the membership who hold similar job roles in areas such as HR, Marketing, Technology & Innovation, and IT. Within these trusted groups, individuals can share experiences and challenges in an environment facilitated and organised by Cambridge Network. Attendance at some of the groups is included as part of membership, with others (such as the Cambridge Leaders Academy) funded by a separate fee.

See the Learning pages on the website to find out more or email Emma@thelearningcollaboration.com to discuss your training needs.
