Two forthcoming courses from Cambridge Network's Learning Collaboration will help you or your staff to perform more confidently at work.

The first - Developing Resilience at Work on Thursday 6th March - is a one day workshop designed to help delegates understand how they can develop a resilient attitude to situations that make them anxious.

Investigating a range of business scenarios that may create a high degree of anxiety, it is aimed at business professionals who are expected to perform effectively in a highly demanding environment.

Core topics include:

  • Developing your level of resilience
  • Enhancing performance and well-being at work
  • Sustaining peak levels of performance
  • Developing levels of adaptability, flexibility and confidence
  • Understanding how your motivation can impact on the morale of your team

The following week (Monday 10 - Tuesday 11 March) there is an opportunity for individuals to master and/or brush up on the essentials of presenting.

Intermediate Presentation Skills is a two day workshop which gives a blend of scientific theory and practical exercises to build skills and confidence within a supportive environment.

Learning outcomes include:

  • Ability to project the image of confidence, competence and engagement through non-verbal communication
  • Developing a toolbox of content techniques to choose from, as and when appropriate
  • Avoiding death by PowerPoint
  • Having skills to create effective memory prompts
  • Creating a SMART action plan, to ensure continuous development after the workshop
