Filled with practical advice, new techniques and real-life examples, the informative half-day event organised by Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce will help businesspeople of all ages and experience to re-think their approach to sales and negotiation with explosive results.
John Bridge OBE DL, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “These core skills are so important to every business, we should not underestimate the impact that this session could have on even the most seasoned salesperson. A fresh outlook and case studies are a great way to share best practice and inspire businesses of all sectors to enhance the way they operate. We are delighted to be working with two of our most knowledgeable members in this field to host what we are sure will be an informative and engaging event.”
The first session, led by Simon Atack, Managing Director of Ace Tech Training and Business Development Ltd, will help businesses identify areas for improvement in their sales culture. His fast-paced presentation, packed with real-life examples and advice, will help delegates to understand the customer journey and how to remove barriers to the sale, provide advice on how to become more efficient and focussed as well as how to use key metrics to generate and measure accelerated sales growth. He will conclude by explaining how re-establishing a company’s unique selling points will enhance the customer experience and set you apart from the competition.
The second session in the half-day event will focus on negotiation skills. Whether you’re working on a life-changing new contract or are lacking confidence to speak up in the office, successful negotiation skills can have a dramatic effect on growth, profitability, efficiency and satisfaction. Led by Andy Collings, Managing Director of Improve Business Performance Ltd, this session will provide delegates with fresh insight and a toolkit of techniques they can take away and use throughout their daily lives.
It will include advice for preparing for client and prospect meetings, insight into different styles of negotiation and how to adopt a style that suits your audience, resources that will help you effectively communicate your message and identify key messages from the other party plus an opportunity to try out the techniques shared and put your negotiation skills into practice.
