Cambridge Ahead has announced Carter Jonas as its first new member organisation for 2017. Carter Jonas is a multi-disciplinary property consultant, charted surveyor and estates agent with a network of 37 offices across the UK.
The firm was founded in Cambridge in 1855, when John Carter Jonas set himself up as an auctioneer. The firm’s estate-management business started shortly after and it now manages 1.3 million acres of property on behalf of private and institutional clients.
The firm employs over 700 people advising clients with residential, commercial and rural property. The firm also have a number of specialist teams advising on planning and development, compulsory purchase, infrastructure projects, public sector together with an architectural service. There are three offices in the Cambridge city region, with the regional head office in Hills Road near Cambridge Station. The corporate head office is at One Chapel Place, Oxford Street, London.

New Project Manager
Cambridge Ahead has also announced the recruitment of Emma Peirce as Project Manager. Emma was recruited from Mundipharma International – a CA member – and will work closely with the CEO and the Project Leads to help ensure that there is a coherent approach, and best use of project team resource and expertise across the growing portfolio of Cambridge Ahead projects.
