Now in its second year, the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards champions the region's extensive talent, showcasing the most impressive innovations. Ranging from game-changing start-ups to pioneers in their fields, Cambridge Independent selected its finalists from a huge range of high-quality submissions
Sponsored by Cambridge Precision, Featurespace won AI Company of the Year - a category rewarding and celebrating the use of Artificial Intelligence in the most innovative way. Finalists alongside Featurespace included Fetch.AI, PROWLER.io and Speechmatics with medical software company, Cydar, being highly commended in this category.
The judging panel included members from some of the region's most influential businesses, such as AstraZeneca, Grant Thorton and Appleyard Lees. Editor and panel judge, Paul Brackely said: “Cambridge is a world leader in so many fields of science and technology, and these awards are a celebration of this quality.”
This is yet another award in an outstanding year of recognition for Featurespace, most recent and prolific accolades include receiving the Queen's Award for Enterprise Innovation, Best Innovation in Predictive Analytics from CogX, and Best Anti-fraud solution from FS Tech Awards and the Cards & Payments Awards, as well as ranking in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100.
