Stone King Partner Julie Moktadir will be leading a webinar on the key aspects relating to the movement of Ministers of Religion and Religious workers during the year and the busy Christmas season and sharing her experience of changes since the introduction of the new points based system and the pandemic.
She says: “We are delighted to offer this free Advent Series for faith charities. The sessions combine focused topics delivered in a succinct way so that there is ample opportunity to raise questions and for attendees to discuss, reflect and share their thoughts on the past year and months ahead. They are interactive sessions and we look forward to welcoming anyone who works with or for a faith charity to one, or all, of these webinars.”
The first webinar in the Advent Series, led by Partner Chris Sharpe on Wednesday 1 December at 10am, will cover the basics of property estate management, highlighting some of the matters for charities to consider in connection with the management of their property estate and recent developments. Julie Moktadir will lead the second session, on 8 December, on international movement post Brexit and pandemic. The third Advent webinar, on 15 December, will discuss some of the real-life practical complications encountered when dealing with wills left by faith charity individuals and the administration of their estates in a cross-border context, led by Partner Dan Harris. In the final session, Partner Harriet Broughton will look at the employment and HR experiences of charities in the last 18 months and what we can learn from these when looking to build strong foundations for the future, as well as discussing ongoing challenges and likely future trends.
