November 14th marks Carbon Literate Action Day, a global initiative aimed at raising awareness and encouraging action to combat climate change. Organised by the Carbon Literacy Project, this day is dedicated to empowering individuals, organisations, and communities with the knowledge and skills to reduce their carbon footprint and promote sustainability.
Cambridge Marketing College will be participating in Carbon Literate Action Day by spreading the word about sustainability through its platform and Carbon Literate short courses.
At its core, Carbon Literacy is about understanding the causes and impacts of climate change and recognising the role each person can play in driving positive environmental change. The goal of Carbon Literate Action Day is to encourage everyone to take concrete actions that can lead to a significant reduction in carbon emissions.
From reducing energy consumption to promoting sustainable transportation and supporting renewable energy, there are countless ways people can make a difference.
By embracing Carbon Literacy, individuals are not only reducing their own environmental impact but also inspiring others to take meaningful steps toward a sustainable future. Together, we can make a difference, one action at a time.
So, what will your carbon-literate action be today?
If you are interested in becoming carbon literate, Cambridge Marketing College's next Carbon Literate short course takes place on the 13th of November.
