The event, hosted by GP Bullhound, is dubbed the ‘Oscars’ of the European entrepreneurial and investor community. It was attended by over 700 entrepreneurs and investment professionals from Europe and the US, at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane, London.
The IQ Capital team won the title, beating some fierce competition from other leading VCs. It recognises the work of the IQ Capital team in identifying some of the greatest success stories in AI, disruptive algorithms, machine learning and computing. This year, the team launched their third £125 million fund (IQCF III), sold Cambridge-based start-up Grapeshot to tech giant Oracle, and made investments in some hot tech start-ups including Cambridge-based Audio Analytic, Speechmatics, Paragraf, Fluidic Analytics and Myrtle.
