A German lead customer TURCK was the first to create products with CambridgeIC technology inside and the result – a range of industrial contactless position sensors - have set a new standard for simplicity and robustness. TURCK’s industrial sensor modules end up in a huge range of products around the world.
The company faced a number of challenges in exporting, especially in dealing with large Blue Chip customers not used to buying from smaller suppliers. By using specialist sales management and distribution with their existing customer networks, and focusing on the US and Germany, where customers are particularly receptive to new technology, they were able to take advantage of CambridgeIC’s early success to illustrate product benefits.
