Over, Cambridgeshire, UK - Toby Churchill Ltd (TCL) is pleased to announce that it will be opening a US office in Denver, Colorado from 1st July 2012. The US sales division will be a branch of the UK Company and will include sales and marketing, customer and technical support, servicing, repairs and funding to serve US customers.
Speaking directly from the US launch at the Assistive Technology Industry Association exhibition in Orlando in the United States, James Rowe, Managing Director, stated: “This is an exciting new chapter for Toby Churchill Ltd. We look forward to begin learning from and supporting our US customers directly and are thrilled at the opportunity to build a supportive team in the US.’
Having contracted encephalitis himself in the late 1960s, Toby Churchill developed an electronic communication aid that would replace his lost ability to speak. Recognising that others would benefit from this device, he incorporated the company in 1973 and Lightwriter communication aids became available. Working closely with academic partners, disability organisations, distribution partners and many thousands of communication impaired individuals over the past 40 years, TCL has brought reliable, stable and innovative voice output communication aid solutions to individuals with communication impairments worldwide.
Over the coming weeks TCL will be recruiting several Denver based office support staff and national field based positions.
